How do fancy fonts work on social media?+
These aren't actually "fonts" - they're mathematical Unicode symbols that look like styled letters. Since they're standard Unicode characters (not custom typography), they display on any platform that supports Unicode, including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and WhatsApp.
Why do some characters not convert?+
Not all Unicode "font" blocks have complete character sets. Numbers and some punctuation marks may not have equivalents in certain styles like Script or Fraktur. In those cases, the original character is preserved.
