Select a preset holiday like Christmas, New Year, Halloween, Valentine's Day, or Summer Solstice to instantly start a live countdown. Or create a custom event with your own name and date. The countdown updates in real time — days, hours, minutes, and seconds — until the event arrives.

Does the countdown reset after the event?+
Yes. Once a holiday passes, the tool automatically calculates the next occurrence of that holiday (e.g., next Christmas). You'll always see the upcoming future date.
Can I count down to my birthday?+
