Questions fréquentes
How accurate is the due date?+
Only about 4% of babies are born on their actual due date. The due date is an estimate - most births occur within a two-week window around it (between 38 and 42 weeks). Your doctor may adjust the date based on ultrasound measurements.
What is Naegele's rule?+
Naegele's rule estimates the due date by adding 280 days (40 weeks) to the first day of the last menstrual period (LMP). It assumes a 28-day cycle with ovulation on day 14. For longer or shorter cycles, the estimate may need adjustment.
