What is BIP-39?+
BIP-39 (Bitcoin Improvement Proposal 39) is a standard for generating mnemonic seed phrases from random entropy. These human-readable word sequences can derive all the private keys in a hierarchical deterministic (HD) cryptocurrency wallet.

This tool generates phrases entirely in your browser using the Web Crypto API - nothing is sent to any server. For maximum security with real funds, generate seed phrases on an air-gapped (offline) device.
