How often are exchange rates updated?+
Rates are refreshed regularly to reflect current market conditions. For precise trading or large transactions, always verify with your bank or broker - retail exchange rates include a markup over wholesale interbank rates.
Why are exchange rates different at banks?+
Banks and currency exchange services add a spread (markup) to the wholesale interbank rate. This spread is their profit margin. Airport exchanges typically have the worst rates (10-15% markup), while online services and credit cards offer better rates.
