What is robots.txt?+
Robots.txt is a text file at the root of your website that tells search engine crawlers which pages they should and shouldn't access. It's a request, not an enforcement - well-behaved crawlers (Google, Bing) follow it, but malicious bots may ignore it.
Should I block any pages?+
Common pages to block: admin panels, login pages, search results pages, staging/test URLs, and duplicate content. Never block CSS or JavaScript files - Google needs them to render your pages properly for indexing.
