Como usar PDF Compress

Upload a PDF, choose a compression preset, and estimate how much smaller the output could become before export. This tool is designed for fast browser-based PDF size reduction workflows where you want a lighter document for email, uploads, or sharing. Compression results depend on the structure of the source PDF, so image-heavy documents usually shrink more than text-only files.

1

Upload the PDF

Choose the PDF file you want to reduce in size.

2

Pick a preset

Choose between Balanced, Smaller file, or Best quality depending on how aggressive you want the reduction to be.

3

Review the estimate

Compare the original file size, estimated output size, and projected savings percentage.

4

Export the compressed PDF

Download the reduced PDF when the compression pipeline is complete.

Perguntas frequentes

Will every PDF compress by the same amount?+
No. Compression savings depend on the file structure, embedded images, fonts, and how optimized the original PDF already is.
Does PDF Compress upload my file?+
No. The tool is designed to process PDFs locally in your browser under normal use.
Which preset should I start with?+
Balanced is the best default for most documents. Use Smaller file when you need stronger reduction, or Best quality when visual fidelity matters more.
Why do some PDFs barely shrink?+
Some PDFs are already optimized or contain mostly text/vector data, which leaves less room for meaningful compression.
