Frequently Asked Questions
What is ideal keyword density?+
There's no magic number. Modern SEO focuses on natural language rather than specific density percentages. As a rough guide, 1-2% density for your primary keyword sounds natural. Above 3% risks sounding spammy and may trigger over-optimization penalties.
Does keyword density still matter for SEO?+
It matters less than it did in 2010. Google now uses semantic understanding (BERT, MUM) to evaluate content quality. However, your primary keyword should appear in the title, first paragraph, headings, and naturally throughout the content.
