常见问题

What is the difference between markup and margin?+
Markup measures profit relative to cost, while margin measures profit relative to selling price. They are related, but they are not the same percentage.
Why does a 50% markup not equal a 50% margin?+
Because the denominator changes. Margin uses the selling price as the base, so the percentage is always different from markup unless profit is zero.
