What is UTC?+
UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) is the global time standard that all timezones are expressed relative to. EST is UTC-5, PST is UTC-8, JST is UTC+9, etc. UTC itself never observes Daylight Saving Time.
Does it handle DST?+
Yes. The converter uses the IANA timezone database which includes all current and historical Daylight Saving Time rules for every timezone worldwide. When DST shifts occur, conversions adjust automatically.
